Stands beside the flood affected people: PM

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday urged to countryman to stand beside the flood affected people.
 

The premier came up with her urge while she was inaugurating the ‘World Environment Day and Environment Fair-2016, at Khamarbari Agriculturalist Auditorium at Farmgate area in the capital.


She said flood not only damage our property but also help to build land of delta.


We have to take necessary steps that the flood can’t damage human lives, she added.   


She claimed that her government has taken initiatives to dredging rivers in aiming to control flood situation.   


Environment and Forests Minister Anwar Hossain Manju, state minister Abdullah Al Islam and Kamal Uddin Ahmed, secretary of the ministry were present at the program.
