UP member hacked to death in Brahmmanbaria

A union parishad member was hacked to death by his rival group over pre-enmity in Brahmmanbaria.

The deceased is Anwar, member of the ward no. 9 of Ramrail union parishad.

In this connection, police detained two suspected people. They are Dana Mia and Musa Mia. 

The incident took place at Send village of Ramrail union under Brahmmanbaria Sadar upazila at 11pm on Saturday.

Confirming the matter, Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman said police are trying to arrest the killers.
