Seven killed as truck rams microbus in Narsingdi

Seven people were killed and four others injured as a truck rammed a microbus in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi early Friday.

Among the deceased, one was identified as Zubaidul, 30.

Itakhola Police Outpost in-charge Md Kabir Hossain said a truck hit a microbus at Itakhola on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway around 3 am, leaving five people dead on the spot and six others injured.

Of the injured, one died on the way to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital and another passed away at hospital, he said.

The injured four were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
