Raid in Comilla: 3 held with arms making equipments

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive held three people including a JCD leader from Shubapur area in Comilla on Saturday night.

The detained people are Mazedul Haque Rajib, 34, son of late Bahar Uddin, Saiul Islam Roni, 30, Joint Convener of JCD in Kotwali Thana, son of Nazrul Islam and Shahidul Islam Bhuyan, 37, son of late Samsul Haque.

Acting on tip-off, a team of RAB conducted a drive at a house named Nayan villa on Baganbari road and held three people with arms making equipments.

After the drive Commander of RAB-11, Major Mostofa Kayzar told reporters, detained people have been making and selling arms for long.
