Police arrest 60 for drug related offences in Dhaka

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in separate raids has arrested 60 people in Dhaka over different drug related offences.

Teams of different police stations and detective branch conducted the drives from Thursday 6 am to Friday 6 am, a DMP release said.

Police recovered 9,334 Yaba tablets, 56 grams of heroin, 113 kilograms of hemp and 29 bottles of phensedyl from their possessions. 

A total of 39 cases have been lodged with police stations concerned in this connection.
