Amassing illegal wealth: Verdict against Sahed on Aug 21

A court in Dhaka has fixed August 21 to deliver its verdict against the chairman of Regent Group and Regent Hospital Md Sahed in a case filed for amassing illegal wealth.
Judge Pradip Kumar Roy of the Special Judge's Court-7 of Dhaka on Thursday set the date after the conclusion of arguments in the lawsuit.
The case statement said the Anti-Corruption Commission filed the case against Sahed on March 1 of 2021 for allegedly amassing illegal wealth worth around Tk 1.69 crore.
