12 dengue patients die; 2868 hospitalized in 24 hrs

Twelve dengue patients died and 2,868 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours (from Tuesday 8 am to Wednesday 8 am).

With the latest death, a total of 352 people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said.

As many as 75,069 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 65,290 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
