Shahjalal airport’s 3rd terminal to be inaugurated on Oct 7

The third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka will be inaugurated on October 7.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the new terminal.
Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Mofidur Rahman told journalist after inspecting the construction work of the terminal at 12pm on Tuesday.
The 82 per cent work of the airport’s third terminal has been completed, he said, adding that they have plan to finish the 90 per cent construction work before inauguration of it.
The CAAB chairman said the terminal will be fully opened for passenger traffic by the end of 2024.
On December 30, 2019, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the construction of the terminal.
