Most dengue patients come from 11 Dhaka city areas

Most of the dengue patients are coming from 11 areas under Dhaka's two cities, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
The areas are Jatrabari, Mugda, Kadamtali, Jurain, Maniknagar and Sabujbag under Dhaka South City Corporation and Uttara, Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Tejgaon and Badda under Dhaka North City Corporation.
DGHS Director (hospital and clinic) Md Habibul Ahsan Talukder said this on Sunday.
The Health Directorate, however, in a press conference today said a total of 2,242 people were hospitalized in the last 24 hours (from Friday 8 am to Saturday 8 am), and of them, 1,239 from Dhaka's two cities.
