No trace of abducted AL leader

Law enforcers could not rescue the abducted Awami Leader Mongpu Marma yet, who was abducted 48 days ago from Bandarban.

Locals said a group of miscreants abducted Mongpu Marma, Joint Secretary of Bandarban Sadar upazila AL unit on gunpoint from his house at JamChoripara of the upazila on June 13 of the year.

Member of his family filed a case against 38 people including leaders of Jonosonghoti Somity (JSS) on the next day.

Later, police conducted combined operation to rescue him but could not find out him.

However, police arrested six people in this connection.
