Two brothers killed in Cumilla road crash

Two brothers were killed as a covered van hit another in Chandina upazila of Cumilla on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Azizul Haque, 34, and his younger brother Rabiul Haque, 23, who hailed from Bohorpur village in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram.

Iliatganj Highway Police Outpost in-charge Obaidul said a covered van hit another from behind in Kutumbapur area after its driver lost control over steering, leaving the latter vehicle's driver and his assistant seriously injured.

Being informed, a team of the fire service rescued them and took to Chandina Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctors declared them dead.
