JU student killed in Sirajganj road accident

A student of Jahangirnagar University was killed and another severely injured in a road accident on Sirajganj-Tangail Highway on Friday.

The deceased is identified as Arafat Mishu, a second year student of Anthropology department and hailed from Homna in Comilla.

Sub-inspector of Razibul Islam of Hatikumrul Highway police said injured Hamidur Rahman, a third year student of marketing department was admitted to Sirajganj Sakhwat H Memorial Hospital.

Around 11:30am a truck hit the two students while they were going to one of their friend’s house in Sirajganj riding a motor-bike, he said.
