Sadarghat launch fire under control

The fire which broke out in a launch at Sadarghat launch terminal in Dhaka has been brought under control.

Some 13 units of firefighters brought the fire under control around 12:10 pm after around one and a half hours of frantic efforts.

Fire Service and Civil Defence duty officer Lima Khanam confirmed the matter.

Earlier, a launch named 'Moyur-7' caught fire around 11 am which was standing at 22 No. pontoon of Lalkuthi Ghat of the launch terminal.

However, the fire official primarily could not inform about the cause of the fire and the casualty in the incident.
