Another Bangladeshi burnt in Malaysia printing press fire dies

Another Bangladeshi worker, who was burnt in a printing press fire in Malaysia on Thursday, has passed away.

Md Sayful Islam, 42, hailing from Jashore, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Serdang Hospital on Sunday morning.

With his death the toll has risen to 4.

Quoting doctors of the hospital, Sayful’s relative Khalid Hasan Ripon said his physical condition deteriorated on Saturday night and died at 10:30am today. 

Earlier on Thursday, two Bangladeshi workers died and four others suffered burn injuries in the fire that broke out at a printing press at Bandar Baru Bangi area in Selangor state of Malaysia.

On Friday, another burn victim died while undergoing treatment at Serdang Hospital.
