Three killed as bus rams motorcycle in Faridpur

Three people were killed as a bus rammed a motorcycle in Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur on Tuesday night.

The deceased were identified as Zubair Bishwas, 17, son of Badsha Bishwas, Nahid Bishwas, 18, son of Idris Bishwas, and Mim Sarder, 17, son of Mojibor Sarder, residents of Bagat village in the upazila.

Locals and police sources said a bus hit a motorcycle in Bagat Pashchimpara area on the Dhaka Khulna Highway around 7:45 pm, leaving its three riders dead on the spot.

The trio met their tragic end when they were returning home from Kamarkhali in storm and heavy rain.

Madhukhali Police Station officer in-charge Md Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter to Jago News.
