No barrier to hold BFUJ polls : HC

The High Court on Thursday stayed the order of the Chittagong Labour Court 1 suspending the election to a faction of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists for three months.

The verdict paved the way for holding the election to be held on Friday.

A bench of Justice Obaidul Hasan and Justice Krishna Devnath passed the order responding to a petition filed by the BFUJ election conducting committee chairman Abu Taher Bhuiyan.
