Derailment snaps Dhaka's rail link with northern region

Dhaka's rail communication with the northern region of the country was suspended after a train derailed in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj on Friday afternoon.

Two bogies of a goods-laden train veered off the track in Ullapara Railway Station area at about 1:45 pm, suspending the rail communication.

Confirming the matter to Jago News, Sirajganj Railway deputy assistant engineer Ahsanur Rahman said he was going to visit the spot and will inform details about this.
