Inmate dies in Keraniganj Central Jail

A prisoner of Keraniganj Central Jail in Dhaka died on Thursday morning.

Deceased Md Janua Mia, 58, hailed from Kalu Pasha village under Brahmanpara Police Station in Cumilla.

Janu Mia was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital this morning after he had fallen sick, prison guard Abdul Kader who took him to the facility said. 

Later, the on-duty doctors declared him dead, he added.

DMCH Police Camp in-charge (inspector) Md Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
