Ctg tyre godown fire under control

The fire that broke out at a tyre godown in Chattogram city has been brought under control.
The fire extinguishers brought the fire under control around 2:45 pm on Saturday.
Earlier at about 12:30 pm, the broke out at the godown of old tyres at Dewan Hat area beside the rail line.
As a caution, the train movement was kept shut from Chattogram station for around one and a half hours, and the service was normalized around 2:45 pm, said the station manager Ratan Kumar Chowdhury.
