Fire breaks out at New Super Market in Dhaka
A fire broke out at the south building of New Super Market in the capital’s New Market area early Saturday.
Being informed, a total of 28 firefighting units rushed to the spot in phases and are working to bring the fire under control.
The fire service received information about the fire at 5:40am.
Ershad Hossain, Duty Officer of the fire service confirmed the matter to Jago News.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
However, Md Shariful Islam, Public Relations of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) said 12 platoon BGB members joined the fire service to douse the fire.
Apart from the members of army, navy, air force and RAB are on the spot.
