2 burnt in AC blast in Mirpur

Two people were burnt in an Air Conditioner (AC) explosion at a house at 60 foot Barek Molla road in the capital’s Mirpur on Monday night. 

They are Md Kamruzzaman Jahid, 35 and Md Sihab, 20. 

The incident took place around 8:30pm. 

They were recovered and admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 10pm. 

Md Rahul, who took them to the hospital, said the duo suffered burn injuries in the AC blast while they were repairing it.

Confirming the matter, Md Bachchu Miah, Inspector and In-charge of DMCH police camp, said two people burnt in the AC blast were taken to the hospital. Of them, Jahid suffered 30 percent burn injuries.
