Fire breaks out in city’s Banani restaurant

A devastated fire broke out at Chorka restaurant at city’s Banani area on Wednesday eveing.

Mizanur Rahman, duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) control room, said the fire erupted at the building at about6.40pm.

On information, five fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and trying to bring the fire under control.

No casualty was reported while the reason behind the fire also could not be known yet.
