Medical board formed for treatment of Dr Zafrullah

A medical board was formed for the treatment of Gonoshasthaya Kendra Founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury on Sunday afternoon as his physical condition did not improve.

Gonoshasthaya Kendra Press Advisor Jahangir Alam Mintu confirmed the matter to Jago News this evening.

Brigadier General (retd) Professor Dr Mamun Mostafi, the chief of the Nephrology Department at Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College, was made the main coordinator of the medical board.

He told the media that they sat in a meeting at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital this afternoon about the treatment of Dr Zafrullah as his physical condition did not improve in the last three days.

Dr Zafrullah has long been suffering from kidney disease. He was admitted to Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital at Dhanmondi of capital Dhaka on April 5 after he fell ill critically and is now undergoing treatment there.
