10 Jamaat-Shibir men among 43 arrested in Satkhira

Police in a special drive arrested a total of 43 people including 10 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir in Satkhira.

The drive was conducted at eight thanas at the same time from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning.

Information officer of District police Sub Inspector Kamal Hosen confirmed the information.

He said, 18 people of Sadar thana and 3 of Kalaroa, 2 of Tala, 6 of Kaliganj, 5 of Shymnagar, 5 of Ashashuni, 2 of Debhata and 2 of Patkelghata were arrested.

The arrestee was accused in sabotage cases, he added.
