Anti-militant drive in Manikganj chars, held 5

Joint forces held five suspected militants during the anti-militant drive for the consecutive second day at different chars of Manikganj district.

Around two hundred members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Police jointly conducted the drive at Lechraganj, Azimnagar, Sutalori and Dhulsura char.

The drive led by Manikganj Police Superintendent Mahfuzur Rahman was started from early Wednesday.

It is mentionable that, five suspected militants were detained from Daulatpur upazila in Manikganj. At this time leaflets and homemade arms have been recovered from the spot.
