Blast in Science Lab: 1 more dies, death toll reaches 4

The death toll from the explosion at a three-storey building in the capital’s Science Lab rose to 4 as one more person died on Tuesday morning.
Ayesha Akter, 26, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNBPS) around 8:30am.
Dr S M Ayub Hossain, Resident Surgeon of the SHNBPS, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
On March 5, three people were killed and thirteen others injured in an explosion at the office of Phoenix Insurance Company Limited located on the third floor of the three-storey building in the capital’s Science Lab.
Later, a fire broke out in the building and a portion of wall collapsed due to the blast.
