There is no chance of vote rigging now: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said there is no chance of vote rigging now.

She said this on Monday afternoon while addressing a press conference on her recently concluded Qatar tour.

The premier said we have made voter list with photographs. There is no chance to hold election with fake voters.

She said, the development has become possible as the democratic process continues in the country.

Sheikh Hasina said the government has taken proper measures so that the people don’t face any problem over buying commodities.

She also said, we are not dependent on others. We are producing now. We have enough food in stock. I hope there will be no difficulty in Ramadan.

Earlier on March 8, the Premier returned home from Doha, the Capital of Qatar, after attending the 5th United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDC5: From Potential to Prosperity).
