Van puller stabbed to death in Dhaka

Miscreants stabbed a van puller to death in Panthapath area of capital Dhaka early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Md Faruk Hossain, 26, a resident of Karwan Bazar slum.

Faruk's wife Firoza Begum said miscreants stabbed him in the area around 12:30 am, leaving him injured.

Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, she added.

DMCH Police Camp in-charge inspector Md Bachchu Mia said the police station concerned was informed about the matter.
