No dengue patient hospitalized in 24 hrs

No one with dengue fever was hospitalized in the last 24 hours (from Thursday 8 am to Friday 8 am).

Currently, a total of 36 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals.

Of them, 16 are being treated at the facilities of Dhaka while 20 are in other divisions, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said today.  

As per the release, a total of 686 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year. 

A total of eight people died of dengue during the period while 642 out of the hospitalized patients recovered.
