Hajj package announced, cost set at Tk 6.83 lakh

A package under government management has been finalized, fixing the cost at around Tk 6.83 lakh for each pilgrim to perform Hajj.
The package was finalized in the meeting of the executive committee on Hajj management held at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
The committee President and State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan briefed the journalists after the meeting.
Last year Hajj cost was set at Tk 5,27,340 for package 1 and Tk 4,62,150 for package 2 under government management.
