Narayanganj minor killing accused on 7-day remand

A Narayanganj court on Monday placed Najmul Huda Masum, main accused of Sagor killing by pumping air into his body through the rectum in Rupganj upazila of the district on a seven-day remand.

Narayanganj Chief Judicial Magistrate passed the order when the accused was produced before the court and the investigation officer sought 10 day.

Earlier, police held Nazmul Hasan in this connection. The other accused in the case remained absentia.

Victim Sagar used to work at the factory where he was frequently abused and beaten up for faults.

Sagar used to protest the torture.His father alleged that his son was killed by pumping air through his rectum on Sunday as punishment over Sagar’s protesting behavior in the past.
