Don’t afraid, be bold against terrorism: Anisul

Pointing out that Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has taken several steps after the gulshan attack Mayor Anisul Haq said we can’t won the battle if we feared the terrorist and militant.

The Mayor made these remarks while he was talking at a symposium arranged by Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League at a community center in city’s Mohammadpur on Monday.

Following the Holey Artisan Café attack DNCC has built 13 gates, nine in Gulshan and four in Banani area, he said.

Anisul Haq also said DNCC appointed local security forces to tighten the security at Gulshan area.

He alleged that Awami League is always politically victimized from the independence of country.

The popular mayor claimed that it is our responsibilities to protect the foreigners from miscreants or criminals.

The program were attended among others by Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Joint Secretary of AL, Jahangir Kabir Nanok , International Affairs Secretary Colonel (Rt.) Faruk khan and it presided over by Rahamatullah, Secretary of AL Metropolitan North unit.
