Two college students killed in Gazipur road crash

Two college students were killed in a road accident in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur district on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Siam, 18, son of Solaiman, a resident of Fulbaria village in Kapasia upazila of the district and Shakil Hossain, 18, from Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj. It was primarily known that they were students of Gazipur BGMEA College.

Sreepur Police Station officer in-charge Mohammad Moniruzzaman confirmed the matter to Jago News.

He said a speeding motorcycle hit hard the railing of Dumni Pagla Bridge under Prahladpur union around 9:30 am, leaving two riders dead on the spot.
