4 Bangladeshi expats killed in Qatar road crash

Four Bangladeshi expatriates were killed and two others injured on Al Shamal highway in Qatar at 5am on Friday (local time). 

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Rahat of Moulvibazar, Mohammad Sirajul Islam of Brahmanbaria, Mohammad Shakil and Mohammad Yousuf Matabbar of Narayanganj.

Rahat was buried at the Abu Hamur graveyard in Qatar on Saturday and the bodies of rest three were kept at the morgue of the Doha Hamad Hospital.

The injured Mohammad Jamal Uddin and Habibur Rahman were admitted to the same hospital. They are the residents of Narayanganj. 

According to the source, the vehicle carrying them lost control and hit a private car on the highway. At that time, two died on the spot and two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.

Muhammad Mustafijur Rahman, Charge the Affairs of the Bangladesh Embassy in Qatar, said the bodies of the three deceased will soon be sent to their families in the country.
