Netrakona woman gives birth to triplets

A housewife gave birth to triplets - two sons and one daughter - in Durgapur upazila of Netrakona early Saturday.

The woman, Hazera Khatun, is the wife of Babul Mia, a resident of Farungpara village under Sadar union in the upazila.

She gave birth to the children through C-section at Talukder Clinic in the upazila around 1:30 am.

The clinic's on-duty doctor Sarwar Hossain Shiflu said the woman and her newborns are doing well.

Relatives of the woman said they are very happy due to the birth of three children at the same birth.
