32 hospitalized with dengue fever in 24 hrs

Some 32 people with dengue fever were admitted to different hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka in the last 24 hours until Tuesday morning.

With this, a total of 165 patients diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals.

Of them, 52 are being treated at the facilities of Dhaka while 113 are in other divisions, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said today.  

As per the release, a total of 321 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year. 

In the past day, a person died of dengue during the period while 155 out of the hospitalized patients recovered.
