Fardin murder case: Bushra released from jail
Amatullah Bushra, who was sent to prison in BUET student Fardin Nur Parash murder case, walked out of Kashimpur Women's Central Jail, Gazipur on Tuesday afternoon on bail.
She was released around 2 pm and her father Manzurul Islam received her at the jail gate, jailor Farhana Akter told Jago News.
Earlier on Sunday, Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court-7 granted bail to Bushra in the lawsuit.
Police arrested private university student Bushra, also a friend of Fardin, from capital Dhaka's Rampura area on November 10 in the case.
Fardin Nur Parash, 24, a third-year student of the Civil Engineering department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, went missing on November 5.
On the same day, his father Kazi Nuruddin Rana, a resident of Noyamati area in Fatulla of Narayanganj, filed a general diary with Rampura Station in Dhaka about his missing.
On November 7, naval police recovered his body from Shitalakhya river in Narayanganj.
Later, Kazi Nuruddin lodged a case against Bushra and some unnamed people with the same police station accusing them of killing Fardin and covering up his body.
