Dhaka-M'singh rail link halted as train engine goes out of order

The rail link between Dhaka and Mymensingh was suspended after the engine of a train went out of order in Gafargaon upazila of the district on Saturday night.

The engine of 'Jamalpur Commuter' train went out of order in BasuTia Fakir Bari area between Moshakhali and Gafargaon Rail stations around 7 pm, said Moshakhali station acting master Suleman.

As a result, the rail communication between Dhaka and Mymensingh was halted, he added.

Mymensingh Railway Police Station officer in-charge Md Mohiuddin said a relief train has already left for the spot.
