5 of a family burnt in gas cylinder blast in Dhamrai

Five members of a family including a child were burnt in a gas cylinder explosion at a house at Islampur area in Dhamrai upazila of Dhaka early Saturday.
The burn injured were admitted to Sheikh Hasina Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHIBPS).
They are Md Manjurul Islam, 35, his wife Josna Akter, 25, Sadia Akter, 19, Hosne Ara, 20 and Mariom, 2.
Dr SM Aiyub Hossain, Resident Surgeon of the SHIBPS, said Manjurul suffered 33% burn injuries, Josna 40%, Sadia 75%, Hosne 25% and Mariom 15%. Of them, three are in critical condition.
