HC seeks Rajuk explanation over missing of documents

The High Court (HC) on Monday asked Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) to submit its explanation over the alleged incident of missing of around 30,000 documents from its server, reports BSS.

The court asked Rajuk chairman to submit the explanation within 30 days.

A High Court division bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Khizir Hayat passed the order as Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) counsel Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan brought a newspaper report regarding the matter to its attention.

"The court also fixed February 5 for holding further hearing on the matter," Advocate Khan said.

According to the report, the documents include the application for Rajuk approval for building construction, submitted between May, 2019, and December 6, 2022.
