Fire breaks out in Uttara slum

A fire broke out in a slum at Uttara in capital Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
A slum beside the rail line at Sector-8 caught fire around 4:58 pm, Fire Service and Civil Defence duty officer Rozina Akter confirmed to Jago News.
Being informed, six units of firefighters rushed there and were trying to douse the blaze, she said.
The cause of the fire and any casualty could not be known yet, the official added.
