3 killed as truck hits motorbike on Khilgaon flyover

Three people were killed after a truck hit a motorbike on Khilgaon flyover in the capital around 3am on Saturday. 

The deceased are Md Joj Miah, 36, Al Amin, 34 and Md Mehedi Hasan, 28. They were the residents of Dhaka’s Mughda area.

A man named Salahuddin, who recovered them from the spot and took them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said the deceased were friends. They were injured critically after a speedy truck hit the motorbike carrying them from behind on Khilgaon flyover. Later, they were taken to the DMCH where the doctors declared them dead.

In this connection, Md Bachchu Miah, In-charge of DMCH police camp, said bodies of the deceased were kept at the hospital’s morgue for autopsies. The concerned police station was informed about the matter.
