30 companies to start e-ticketing on buses in Dhaka from Sunday

The buses of 30 companies on Mirpur route in capital Dhaka will come under an e-ticketing system from Sunday (November 13).
Dhaka Road Transport Owners Association General Secretary Khandaker Enayet Ullah said this in a press conference in the capital's Eskaton area on Saturday.
He said the buses of 30 companies on Mirpur route will run under an e-ticketing system from Sunday.
Sixty companies' buses operating in Dhaka city and 97 companies' ones plying in Dhaka's suburbs will run under the same system from January 31, and February 28, 2023, respectively.
Khandaker Enayet Ullah said the system is being launched to stop realizing extra bus fares.
