BUET student Fardin might have been killed: Doctor
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Fardin Nur Parash, 24, might have been killed.
Sheikh Farhad, Resident Medical Officer of Narayanganj General Hospital, said this after ending an autopsy around 11:30am on Tuesday.
The doctor said, numerous injury marks have been found on Fardin’s body. Further details will be known after getting the autopsy report.
Earlier on Monday, the body of Fardin was recovered from Shitalakhya river at Banani ghat area in Narayanganj.
Fardin, third year student of Civil Engineering department of BUET and son of Kazi Nuruddin Rana of Noyamati area at Deolpara Kutubpur in the district, would live at Shantibagh Konapara area in the capital’s Demra.
In this connection, Hafizur Rahman Manik, Inspector (investigation) of Siddhirganj Police Station, said we informed Narayanganj waterway police after seeing a floating body in the river. Later, they rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
He also said, Fardin remained missing since November 4. His father filed a general diary with Rampura Police Station in Dhaka on November 5. Legal action is under process in this regard.
