3 killed as mini truck collides with motorbike in Bagerhat

Three people were killed in a head-on collision between a mini truck and a motorbike on Khulna-Bagerhat highway at Baloi Dokan area in Fakirhat upazila in Bagerhat on Monday evening. 

The deceased were identified as Saikat Sheikh, 25, son of Sakhawat Hossain Shakur, Md Motlob Kha, 80 and his grandson Tawhid Ahmmed Ruhin Kha, 24. They were the inhabitants of Sugandhi village in Bagerhat sadar upazila.

SM Ashraful Alam, Inspector of the Special Branch of Bagerhat district police, said one died and two others were injured when the mini truck collided head-on with the Khulna-bound motorcycle. Later, local people rushed two injured to Khulna Medical College Hospital where they died while undergoing treatment.
