Ex-JCD leader among 2 killed in Pabna road crash

Two people, including a former local leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, were killed in Pabna district on Saturday morning.

The deceased were Ariful Islam Bishwas, 27, former social welfare secretary of Pabna unit JCD and son of Nurul Islam, and Sumon Ghosh, son of Shyamal Ghosh, residents of Dilalpur area in Pabna municipality.

Quoting locals, Pakshi Highway Police Station officer in-charge Ashish Sanal said a bus rammed a motorcycle in Atmail area on the Ishwardi-Pabna road, leaving its two riders dead.
