2 additional DIGs sent on retirement

The government has sent two additional deputy inspectors general (DIGs) of police on retirement.

The officials are Md Alamgir Alam of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Md Mahbub Hakim of the Tourist Police.

The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry on Monday issued separate notifications signed by the Senior Secretary of the Ministry Md Aminul Islam Khan.

According to the notifications, they were sent on retirement from the government service in the public interest -- as per the provisions of Section 45 of Government Service 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018).
