APBn, police raid Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar, 41 arrested

Members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) and police have conducted drives at the Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar and arrested 41 people accused in different cases including murder case.

The drives led by APBn Commander Additional DIG Md Amir Jafar were conducted at Rohingya camps No. 13, 17, 18, 19, and 20 on Friday night.

The drives were conducted in the name of ‘Operation Root Out’ over the recent murder incidents in the camps. 

Assistant Police Super Md Faruk Ahmed, APBn-8, confirmed the matter in a press release on Saturday.

He also said the drive will continue to curb terrorists from the camps.
