Kid’s body found after 19 hours

Divers of the Fire Service recovered the body of a four-year-old boy on Friday, 19 hours after he fell into a sewer line near Mirpur Commerce College in the capital.

Five divers around 5:30am resumed search operation and recovered the body from the sewer line.

Confirming the matter, Duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence said, the body of Junaid Sabbir, son of Amir Hossain of Mirpur area, was found around 11am.

Zunayed fell into the sewer near Mirpur Commerce College in Mirpur-2 at around on Thursday.

On information, three fire-fighting teams and divers rushed to the spot in a bid to conduct a rescue operation. But they could not find the whereabouts of the boy till 1am.
