Two riders killed as bus rams motorcycle

Two people were killed as a bus hit a motorcycle in Magura district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Washim, 25, son of Ahmed Ali, a resident of Parnanduali area, and Limon Molla, 25, son of Altaf Molla of Majhail area in the district town.

The incident took place in Chhoto Bridge area on the Magura-Jhenaidah Highway around 7 am.

Sadar Police Station officer in-charge Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to Jago News.

Police and local sources said a Jhenaidah-bound bus hit a motorcycle in Chhoto Bridge area, leaving two riders dead on the spot.

Later, police and fire service personnel recovered the bodies and sent these to Magura Sadar Hospital morgue.
